PORTLAND, Maine (July 1, 2008) – Memories were made and champions were crowned at the US Youth Soccer Region I Championships today. The top teams in Region I came together this week with one goal, and that was to take their crown at the US Youth Soccer Region I Championship and advance to Little Rock, Arkansas for the US Youth Soccer National Championships. Finals begin at 8 a.m. tomorrow at Bowdoin College with 36 teams in the running

 

Only 12 will advance to the US Youth Soccer National Championships

 

PORTLAND, Maine (June 30, 2008) – As the semifinals of the US Youth Soccer Region I Championships got underway this morning, 72 teams were still in the running, but at the end of the day, some had to go home.  Today, the field was trimmed to 36 teams who still have a chance to claim the regional crown.  Read Story

The U12 Girls 8v8 Black Bear United scored their first goal and point in the US Youth Soccer Region 1 Championships with a 1-1 tie with the Academia AFC club out of Connecticut.

The chase for the crown begins Friday at 8:00 a.m.
