Husson University Captures Queenan Memorial Title

Eagles' Hersey and Hamel Tally High Score

CASCO, ME - Husson University won the 2008 John Queenan Memorial Golf Tournament on Tuesday afternoon with a team score of 299, 10 strokes ahead of runner-up University of Southern Maine. Four Eagles finished in the top six for the day, as Mike Hersey (74), Chris Hamel (74), John Ellis (75) and Josh Gallagher (76) helped pave the way for the tourney title.

Senior Andy LeConte (York, ME) achieved the best score for host -team Saint Joseph's College with a 77 on the day, good for ninth place. The Monks finished sixth with a team score of 335
