Bowdoin's Denton-Schneider Earns All NESCAC Honors

BRUNSWICK, Maine - Bowdoin College men's soccer player Ben Denton-Schneider (San Rafael, Calif.) has earned First-Team All-NESCAC honors in conference awards announced on Thursday. He was one of just two sophomores to earn first-team recognition.

The midfielder saw action in all 14 games last season for Bowdoin, scoring a goals and two assists. The 2007 NESCAC Rookie of the Year also contributed to a Polar Bear defense that allowed just 1.6 goals per game this season.

Bowdoin concluded their 2008 season with a record of 6-8, reaching the NESCAC Quarterfinals.
