Women’s Soccer: St. Joe’s Ranked as Top Team in GNAC Poll

STANDISH, ME – Saint Joseph’s College opens the season at No. 1 in the 2008 preseason Great Northeast Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Poll.

 

St. Joe’s concluded the 2007 with the best record in the program’s 20-year history. The Lady Monks went 16-2-3 and posted a 12-1-2 conference record in their inaugural season in the GNAC to earn the #2 seed in the playoffs.

 

Michael Bolanz ‘00 returns for his fifth year as the Women’s Soccer head coach and has 14 returning players from the ‘07 team, including six who received All-GNAC honors as well as the team’s top 10 scorers.
