Gajewski Earns Second Conference Honor

STANDISH, ME - The Great Northeast Athletic Conference has named Hannah Gajewski '12 (Biddeford, ME/McAuley) as the Swimming Rookie of the Week for the second time this season.

In a 161-94 win over Elms College on November 16th, Gajewski earned 33 points with individual first place finishes in the 800 free (10:33.02) and 100 breast (1:26.00) and swam a leg for the winning 200 free relay team (2:03.57).

The first-year swimmer has won seven of eight individual events so far this year and has broken records in four events (100 free, 200 free, 50 breast and 200 IM) for the second-year program. She also was a member of the record-breaking 200 free relay team against Colby-Sawyer on October 25th.

Saint Joseph's will travel to Weston, MA on Sunday, November 23rd to compete against Regis College. The meet begins at 1:00 PM.
