STANDISH, ME - Norwich University (6-0, 1-0 GNAC) defeated Saint Joseph's College (2-9, 0-1 GNAC) on 3-0 (25-14, 38-36, 25-10) on Saturday afternoon.

Freshman Samantha Varrell (Portsmouth, NH) paced the Lady Monks with 18 assists and teammate Laura Moreau '12 (Rollinsford, NH) recorded nine digs in the three-set loss. Norwich sophomore setter Molly Rice (Sunapee, NH) posted a double-double effort with 26 assists and 17 digs in the conference win over Saint Joseph's.
