BANGOR, Maine -- Fourth-seeded Husson University advanced to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) New England Division III Men’s Soccer Tournament semifinalw with a 3-0 win over the fifth seed, the University of Southern Maine, at the John Boucher Field Wednesday afternoon.

Freshman Tyler Metevier (Kittery, Maine) had two goals to pace the Eagles. Metievier put Husson up 1-0 at 25:36 when he put home a rebound off a shot by junior Justin Gauvin (Woolwich, Maine).
